At Axon Tech we understand that for critical operations managers, service continuity and operational efficiency are non-negotiable. Our dedicated technical support platform is designed for those who require fast, accurate and documented answers.

Here you will find direct access to our frequently asked questions (FAQs), as well as a technical library with up-to-date guides and manuals. Our focus is to provide solutions that keep your systems running at the highest standards of reliability, security and performance.

    Support ticket

Is your system malfunctioning or has some equipment stopped working properly? Raise a technical support ticket to report incidents related to the operation of products or installed solutions.

Fill out the form with the requested details and one of our engineers will follow up to diagnose and resolve the fault with the speed and efficiency that characterises us.

      FAQs

We have compiled the most common questions we receive from our customers. If you have questions about equipment installation, network configurations, software licenses, preventive maintenance or remote support, we invite you to consult this section.rea.

How to configure an IP camera for integration with a centralised video surveillance system?

To integrate an IP camera into the VMS (Video Management System), make sure the device is on the same subnet, set the static IP manually and use ONVIF protocol for the connection. AxonView VMS software allows for automatic detection, but it is recommended to assign dedicated ports for streaming (RTSP) and PTZ control, if applicable. Please refer to the brand specific guide in our manuals section.

What is the compatibility between biometric access controllers and RFID proximity readers?

Most of our controllers support multiple technologies simultaneously (biometrics, RFID 125 KHz, MIFARE 13.56 MHz). For environments with multiple access points, we recommend the use of controllers operating under Wiegand 26 or RS485 to ensure real-time synchronisation and traceability via AxonControl. Confirm compatibility in the data sheet of the corresponding model.

Which tools does AxonTech recommend for fibre optic link certification?

We recommend the use of professional-grade certifiers such as Fluke Networks® or EXFO® for single-mode or multimode links. Attenuation (OLTS), reflectometry (OTDR) and visual verification (VFL) tests must be performed. For new installations, certification report according to ANSI/TIA-568.3-D standard is mandatory.

What are the optimal conditions for installing an aspiration fire detection system?

Aspirating systems require a NFPA 72 compliant design and should be installed in environments where early detection is critical (electrical rooms, data centres, cold rooms). The piping network should comply with ring or branched design, with sampling points distributed according to airflow and thermal stratification. Annual calibration of the detector is recommended.

What considerations should be taken into account when implementing wireless point-to-point links for telecommunications?

Direct line of sight (LoS) must be guaranteed, the Fresnel zone assessed and the maximum effective distance calculated according to the frequency (5 GHz or 60 GHz). It is essential to perform a spectrum study to avoid interference and to adjust the antennas precisely (minimum -60 dBm signal). We use Mikrotik®, Cambium Networks® or Ubiquiti® radios depending on the required capacity.
